No, its not job losses

No, its not about AI developing artificial intelligence and Terminator emerging

My fear is people trust it.  Here is an example of what scares me about AI.

For one apartment, I have all of my Fannie Mae loan terms in a single document. I uploaded that document to ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. I asked all three of them to calculate my yield maintenance penalty.   This is an important question.  The answer is around $830,000

I got three different answers. ChatGPT was clearly wrong. The other two were similar but were about 5% different. Sadly, that is just math. With the loan terms, and the ability look up the current treasury yields, all three should have gotten the exact same answer.

FWIW, Gemini gave me an answer most similar to my lender, but that doesn't mean I will trust it with being correct.

I have had potential investors, as well as other note investors, who would put things in ChatGPT to convince them of a theory that was furthest from the truth. Once somebody is convinced based on what ChatGPT tells them, there is no turning back. What is scary is there are many humans who are already manipulated by social media and news media, and now you're allowing essentially the Wizard of Oz to also dictate your behavior.
