MTR help requested in Wilmington, NC!

Hi everyone! I am planning to move this summer and really want to put my house up as an MTR given the high demand in Wilmington, NC! This is my first time renting out my whole house (I did a MTR one summer and had someone live in one of my rooms while I lived here) and I am a little nervous about getting started! I would love to connect with some local Wilmington, NC MTR investors! I am deciding if I want to do this on my own this first round (I currently work 70 hours per week so this isn't really my first choice) or find a property manager (or someone willing to manage mine) who has a good cleaner/handyman/team and has had some good experience with MTRs in this area! Btw- I have a 2016 home- 3bed, 2.5 bath, second living room upstairs, 2 car garage, large fenced-in yard, covered porch with patio furniture, and more-- so I think it is a pretty desirable listing! Thank you so much in advance!!

Go to your local REI meetup. That's the best way to make contacts. In our experience, running one MTR has not been very time consuming. Even with a time consuming job, you may be able to operate without a PM if you find a top-notch cleaner and landscaper. But if you find someone you really gel with and it helps you sleep better at night, they'll be worth the money.
