Capital Call issued after foreclosure without disclosing

Fletcher Caulk
Posted

I am invested in an LLC that owns a property in Cleveland OH that recently issued a capital call. I paid into it only to later find out via simple internet search that the property went into foreclosure prior to the capital call. I emailed them without any response. They have stopped providing any updates since t he capital call about 10 months ago. What recourse do I have? Is it worth filing a lawsuit? The total amount invested is $45k.

Yes file suit against the entity and the sponsors.
