Email Campaign Compliance

Hi BP, I plan on running an email campaign to find leads and wanted to see what everyone is doing to be in compliance with CAN-SPAM Act or anything else that's out there?

Hey Steve, I ran email marketing for a few years, and here are some best practices that helped us avoid landing in the spam folder.

First, warm up your email. That means sending and receiving emails consistently for at least a few weeks before launching any campaigns.

Second, run your list through a verification platform like NeverBounce. This helps improve deliverability because you’re reaching real, valid email addresses. If you run campaigns with a poor-quality list and get a lot of bounces, it will hurt your deliverability. You want as many valid emails as possible.

Additionally, use multiple email accounts instead of relying on just one. Each email should send between 10 to 50 emails per day at the beginning, and you should gradually increase volume over time. Do not start by sending 500 emails from one account right away. It needs to be a gradual process.
