I'm interested in in starting off in the wholesaling business. I'm in the Houston area and I'm not sure where to start?  I'm reading the books and am more confused than anything. Any advice helps

Local real estate meetings in your area, first step, determine who are the cash buyers and ask about their buying criteria and price point. Network like crazy and be a regular face. Also try to get some contracts and documents from the members that they actually use. Dig through biggerpockets and google learn about running the numbers on a flip and marketing for sellers, you'll want to be creative with the marketing if your area is saturated with We Buy Houses sort of bandit signs.
