Do I have to notarize a wholesale contract.

Posted

I have hurd people mention notorizing wholesale contracts and I would like to know if that is really necessary. I use ron legrand contracts and on it it has a place where the seller can sign to acknowledge they have recived ernest money from me for $10 cash check or any amount. I have only put 1 property under contract and did not notarize it or do anything with it really. Does it need to be notarized? Do I need to submit it to a title company? What is the process here?

@Michel Lautensack I have never heard of anyone notarizing a wholesale contract—I am assuming you mean an assignment agreement. Also you dont give EMD to the sellers you give it to the title company. You might want to spend a little more time learning how wholesaling works before you go out there and make a bunch of mistakes. Your grasp on some of the basics seems a bit loose.
