Form To Help With Estimating Repairs?

Question

I have heard there is a form or two circulating that will help in estimating repairs.  Does anyone use a form like the that I have been hearing about?  If so, do you know where I can get a copy.

Michael, thank you for the form.

Just a quick question concerning it though, do these numbers account for labor?  I'd like to know if this is just cost of materials or if labor is included.

Are you the one doing the repairs or are you hiring out? The reason is two fold. If your doing your own repairs you just need to figure material cost. If your NOT doing the repairs than you will need to know labor and material costs. Most "handy mans" will charge you a flat rate for the job and the build in the cost of material and labor costs, which means you will pay more for both materials and labor. Let me know.

Michael, I downloaded your form.  I appreciate you sharing it with me.

Dan, I am trying to estimate the repair costs so that I can give the end buyers a fair wholesale price.

I imagine most of them will have crews they use on a regular basis and because of this they receive tremendous discounts.  I am just trying to be in the ballpark on the repairs so that I can figure them into the price that I list the house at while wholesaling.
