That said, I have a similar question: What should the assignment contract include? I have not seen this anywhere in my readings or research. Can anyone point me to a resource to model?

Thanks!

I am sorry that my reply will kind of suck, but the way I got it, .. well my lawyer kept swearing at me when I used my fancy assIgnment contract... so after I wouldn't budge, they gave me one for free.

Being annoying ALWAYS makes things better (for you).

I think you need to ask your local closing person what it should include. Often no one checks really... till you come across a pissed of buyer that thinks you are making a little bit too much money! Then they could start poop!
