Is Wholesale Illegal or Legal

Truthfully the reason I have opted to diving into Wholesale Realty is because like many here , I DON’T HAVE MONEY and or the perfect credit score to buy properties.

But after talking to an investor that has been doing this for 28+ years , he brought to my attention that wholesale is illegal. I did some research and it makes sense to a certain extent to me. So now am a bit concerned knowing this moving forward. I am going to do more research on this on the laws of the state of Tennessee where I reside , but , wanted everyone else’s opinions on this.

It is too broad of a question really.  Are there wholesalers who operate illegally? Absolutely. Are there wholesalers who operate legally? Absolutely.  Every states laws are different, and every states level of enforcement of those laws are different.
