A "trending" market in wholesaling means you are too late to the party. You should be looking at the cities or towns around the trending market to find a new niche that others haven't hit yet. If you are in Cali, I wouldn't just pick a city someone tells you is solid or that appears good by the numbers. To build a team somewhere else, you need personal contacts. Where else have you lived, gone to college or have trusted relatives or friends? This is a great way to pick a market where you already have boots on the ground.
