Getting Pictures for Properties Under Contract in Another State

Hey there, I'm a real estate wholesaler based out of Austin, Texas. Our primary markets are larger cities within Texas, but I also wholesale in Ohio, Florida, Georgia, New York, Arizona, Illinois, Colorado, etc.

Every now and then, I run into a problem securing photos of properties I get out-of-state, where the property is vacant, and the owner also lives out-of-state.

Do you all have any recommendations for getting pictures of vacant properties that are out-of-state, and the property owner also lives out-of-state? Would you recommend hiring a bird dog or posting a small gig on Craigslist in search of photographers?

I'm open to any recommendations. I appreciate it!

@Calvin Turner I'm in CA and mostly wholesale in TX.  I usually join Facebook groups that are local to the city I'm working...every city seems to have a trading post and Craigslist group within Facebook.  I usually find people there, and I pay them $40.  I don't book them too far in advance of the shoot date, since the likelihood of them cancelling or not showing up is much higher.  So I try to book them no more than three days or so out from the date of pics.  Usually, I end up finding one person in each city who I can consistently use and not have to find a new person each time.  I treat them well, as far as soon as they finish the job, I pay them via an app, and they seem to really appreciate that and go the extra mile when I need that.
