Top economists thoughts on the Housing market 11/26/2022

I always like to read an article, then let it sit a bit and see if I still agree with it.

How about this one from 11/26/22

https://markets.businessinside...

Basically these Economists are saying that prices are really going to fall in Housing.

Do we agree?

YES, but only in some markets and only in some types of housing.

In Worcester what are we seeing?

SF increase in # of houses for sale and a drop in prices

Condos Inventory is down a bit, and prices are holding steady

Multi. Inventory is down a lot, and prices are holding steady

In the towns surrounding Worcester there is NO INVENTORY OF ANYTHING especially Multis

When this was written interest rates were rising with no end in sight.  Currently rates are moderating and people believe that they will fall.

Once again I will emphasize that when you are buying a MULTI you are buying the house, the location and the tenants and future tenants.  Price should not be as much of an issue.  If you get a good one you will be happy, if you get a bad one, sell and cut bait.

Our goal is to get you the good ones that hit your investment strategy.
