Tenants Who Are Foster Parents...
Curious if anyone has ever had any experiences related to a tenant who wanted to be a foster parent?
I learned recently that my tenant had invited a Foster child into the unit without my prior screening or consent.
Although it is a TAW arrangement, a lease was signed at occupancy with terms expressly prohibiting additional tenants and/or subletting without my approval.
Thoughts?

Yes, she should have notified you first.
However, I would simply gather the information for the minor(?) child and record it in your files - or on your lease if they are listed there and review with her the process to follow when this child leaves and/or she wishes to care for another child.
Beyond that there is likely little you can, or should, do. If your tenant became pregnant and had a child while leasing your apartment what would you do ... or if she adopted a child?
Here, discriminating against a foster family would be viewed in the same light as prejudice towards a natural or adoptive family and you do not want to go there.
