7 Smart Tips for Getting the Most Out of a Property Inspection

I just read this blog post from yesterday... First of all, I found a lot of the tips to be a little off base but tip #1 to be complete nonsense.  Does anyone feel that it would not be a conflict of interest for an inspector to offer bids to personally perform the repair work or for a partner to perform it?  Have you ever had an inspector do work on a house that he or she has previously inspected?

This guy (the author) is a BP blogger and looks like he might have some street cred so I'm just wondering if I'm wrong on this.
