I would check plan to attend a couple and see which one you like, but I can tell you from personal experience that the one Account Closed mentioned with the Real Estate and Business Network is quite an evening.

I started attending and I met some inspiringly driven people and solidly connected with them.  Best part was that they were all super-friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat about their passion and mine...real estate and taking action.

If you are worried about showing up not knowing someone, don't be. It's a friendly and relaxed networking atmosphere.  You can also bring a friend/colleague/spouse, or tell Nick you'll be going and introduce yourself when you get there. He will help introduce you to some really great folks and then you can go from there.

Thank you for the vote of confidence for BREIA as we work very hard to build a strong club.  Again, we are the only REIA that is approved the National REIA in South Florida.   As a chapter of the National REIA we have very strong benefits for our members including a rebate program with Home Depot, OfficeMax, Tenant Screening Companies and much more.    The National REIA is the only organization that endorsed REIA's.   The approval process with National REIA is a lengthy process which we are very proud of passing.   Our members have received over $100k in rebate checks from Home Depot last year.

I also love DREIA hosted by @Dave Dinkel but it's in Dade, not Broward. Worth the drive though in my opinion - DREIA and BREIA are the biggest investor networking meetings in South Florida. REBN is great too though - very tight knit community.

As one of the owners of the largest REIA in South Florida (BREIA) , our next meeting is April 6 at the Signature Grand.  We are the one of four REIA's approved with the National REIA.   You can check out the www.Nationalreia.com to see who is approved in your area.   We average roughly 300 people per meeting and we look forward to seeing you at our next event.

@Josue Escobar. If you go to meetup.com and search for "real estate investment within 25 miles of Fort Lauderdale", you'll find a number of groups there. From here, you could click on meetup calendar button and find real estate events listed by date [ie. there are two real estate investment groups meeting tonight (3/10/2016) one in Boca and another in Weston]

As a beginner myself, I've been considering joining these two groups:

Broward Real Estate Investors Association [BREIA] and

Distressed Real Estate Investors Association
