Rental Market in Queens, NY

Hello BPers,

I am new to the real estate investing business and in search of some information. I have been doing a lot of reading and search of my own but will like to hear from anyone with a lot more experience than myself.....

Currently seeking to buy 2-4 unit multifamily rental property in Queens, more specifically in Maspeth and Ridgewood areas. Seems like Ridgewood is up and coming neighborhood and will like to know if indeed this is true? are these areas any good for investment? and which areas in Queens should be avoided?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Priscila

@Priscila Parra I was a commercial broker in Ridgewood, Queens selling multifamily's the market was great. What are you looking for when you buy these? Cash flow is harder to get in that market because the prices have gone up A LOT in the last couple years. If you have any questions let me know, Im not a broker anymore but have a real estate investment business.
