Keller Williams E and O / selling your own property

hi all, 

I had a few conversations with Keller Williams' employees and was told that you aren't allowed to represent yourself as an agent when selling your own home if you work for KW. The company seems to insist that you partner with other agents to sell your home for you. Has anyone experienced this or does anyone have contradictory experience. Not representing yourself in the deal seems to take away many of the benefits. Any help is greatly appreciated.
