Seeking Solid Rental Neighborhoods in Westchester
Hey Everyone,
I'm new to the real estate game and Bigger Pockets, and looking to Westchester as a potential honey pot for investments. Can anyone suggest communities in the county with strong rental markets for single family homes? Additionally, are you using any resources to help you determine strong rental markets in the NYC metropolitan area? Thanks so much, and looking forward to leveraging, and contributing experiences to the forum.

It will be tough to find good cash-flowing single family rentals in Westchester. Most investors in these areas look to multi-families so they are able to cash-flow. The areas with good strong rental markets are Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, White Plains, Portchester, a few others. To be able to find single families that are worth it you may have to look further upstate.
