Didn't see this posted. Moody's posts an across the state forecast based on historical trends and known future opportunities. Lots of comparisons between different parts of the state and Illinois vs the nation.

Bottom line - Chicago continues to have positives, Northern and central Illinois might be good bets, southern Illinois looks a little scary.

This was my key take below. It's too bad politicians cannot work together for the sake of the state's future.
Illinois has what it needs to remain a top business center, as long as it can solve the fiscal problems that are eroding its edge in the competition for talent, jobs and capital. Specifically, Illinois has a huge talent pool of highly skilled workers, world-class universities, more money for investment, and better transportation with an airport with direct connections around the globe. The state has these advantages because it has Chicago, the nation’s third largest metro area. No neighboring state has a city even half as large.
