Differences between rental apartments, 4 plexes, and townhouses
here in Colorado springs we have a hot rental market secondary too low home supply.
What is the main difference in driving demand in rental markets between apartments, 4 plexes, and town homes.
is there much of a difference in what drives demand fur each of these or are they essentially equivalent in a rental market... ie rentals are rentals?
I'm looking to invest in rental properties and possibly some land development, and I'm trying to understand the different drivers of demand fur each of these types of units: apartments, 4 plexes, and town homes
Thank you

@Lukasz Kowalczyk I have property's in Penrose right down the road. It's been rented for between 800 and 900 a month for the last 10 years. This last tenant was placed in Late April at 1250. I bought there 10 years ago thinking pueblo and the Springs and Canon city or one of the 3 might grow in that direction some day. Thinking of my kids here. Now all 3 are booming. The Freemont county vacancy rate is 1%. I own 5 units in the area. I wish it was 50. Rents in pueblo have gone from 525 a month to 700 a month for the same unit. The tenant in that unit moved out when I raised her rent from 500 to 525 a month 2 1/2 years ago. Your on the right track thinking about building I believe. RR
