2 family vs 3 family homes
Someone new to investing should they get a 2 family and learn the ropes and just start out with 3 family. I believe in starting at the bottom work your way up.

3 and 4 unit properties typically have a better spread than 2 unit homes with the same barrier to entry (same low down payment financing). If you can swing a three or four unit house hack, I would go that route as opposed to the two family.
