California definition of a bedroom
Apologies if this is the wrong forum. I am looking for some help with regards to CA's definition of a bedroom, and whether a walk-thru can be determined as a legal bedroom. Our local city's code does not preclude a walk-through space being called a bedroom, but I haven't been able to determine if there was a State or other code that might further define what a bedroom is. Any help would be appreciated!
I'm clear on closet, egress, etc. just the walk-thru aspect that I haven't gotten complete clarity on.

It actually doesn’t need a closet or to be 10x10. Here’s a couple links to give you an idea of some things it does need, and I’m guessing some cities could possibly have some slight variations:
