Cant Find any Info on Grandparents Home

About 3 years ago My Wifes Grandmother died, and her home has been left empty. I contacted the county for info on the lien holder and they have no info at all. The only info the county had was taxes due. The children have no info on the home and I am at a loss with this.The Property is located in Lane County Oregon. Does anyone out there in BP land have any ideas on how to purchase this home before it goes into foreclosure? How to find out who the mortgage company is? Is it possible to purchase this home before it goes into foreclosure? Thank you for any and all help on this issue.
