Great Real Estate Attorney to help form an LLC?

Hello everyone, by any chance does anyone know a good Attorney in High Point, Greensboro, or Winston Salem North Carolina, that can help me form my first LLC? I will greatly appreciate the assistance!

You don't need a RE attorney to set up your LLC. The state sites ask you all the questions and the answers are pretty obvious. Like, what is your business for? It should take you less than ten minutes in any state as long as you are a single-member LLC just making it to get started.

Hello @Mark Kennedy, @Eric Sweet, & @Jonathan Greene, I greatly appreciate you for sharing you valuable insight on this important matter! So I do know that forming an LLC online is a fairly easy process from what I've noticed, with the exception of an operating agreement. Now since I'm just starting & will be running the business on my own, I'm not sure if an operating agreement is necessary. So that's why I wanted to talk to an attorney before starting an LLC.

This is actually a good question.  I've been advised before to consult with an attorney when forming an LLC in order to "set it up correctly for RE investing".  But, to your point @Mark Kennedy, it's very simple to set one up yourself through the SoS website.

Broader question for the group: What specific benefit(s) does using an attorney to help setup your LLC provide?

Good morning @Gabriel Pais. If all you’re doing is forming an LLC with no other legal advice needed, you can just go to the NC Secretary of State website and form it yourself and save some money on an attorney.
