Should I rent a duplex that has a pool or just sell it?

Want to move but also want to invest in property, wondering if it’s a good or bad idea to keep current location as a rental which is a duplex with a pool for 1st floor use. Don’t really know liabilities of renting with a pool vs selling outright in NYS. Any suggestions?

@Song LaRue is this currently your primary residence? I want to warn you tenants will not treat the property the same way you did. A pool definitely makes for a good rental, but you need to be comfortable letting go of the sentimental value. I'd run comps in the area and way out pros/cons of sellings vs. renting.
