Hi,

I am looking up ways to make money to fund my real estate endeavors and see that many people start off wholesaling houses. What advice would you give to someone who wants to start wholesaling deals?

I think that people like to say they want to start as a wholesaler, but I don't know many successful investors who actually started as wholesalers. Wholesaling is tough and definitely not a way to make the money to become an investor, without having money to spend on making a wholesaling business and not a pastime. It's especially hard in NJ because there are a lot of wholesalers and most of them are terrible so we have little trust in new wholesaler that their numbers (ARV and repair costs) are accurate and when they aren't, it's a wasted trip for us.
