Apopka, Florida - long term rental market

Hi Guys:


I am an investor who specializes in mutlifamily homes in Buffalo, NY but looking for my retirement home in Central Florida. I'm looking to buy something that I can rent out now and live in when I retire. Looking for something with around 3500 square feet.

I've identified some target houses in Apopka, Florida. Does anyone have solid information on crime rates in that area? I hear there are bad pockets of South Apopka, but i'd guess where I am looking, Beardsley Drive, it should not be an issue.


If anyone has expertise, please do let me know.
