New Investor - Jim - Orlando Florida

Jim Williams
Posted

Hello Biggerpockets!

My name is Jim and I live in the Central Florida/Orlando area.  I have been learning about real estate investing for the past 1-2 years and am close to making my first real estate deal.

I am 25 years old and work full time as a mechanical engineer. Although I enjoy my job, I have been aggressively saving to fund my first deal. I have also read several REI books including Brandon Turner's "Book on Rental Property Investing."

I am specifically interested in multi-family rental property investing.  Initially I wanted to join the ranks of "house hackers", although presently I am considering investing out of my immediate area and going the "traditional investing" route.

I am looking forward to meeting and engaging with the community on here.

Cheers!

Jim
