Letter to Owner for Vacant Property
Does anyone know where I can find some sort of template letter to mail and leave at a vacant house that is not on the market? It has been boarded up for a few weeks and I tracked down the tax payers. I want to leave a note that I will purchase the house for cash but I don't want to be too direct. Is there a template or anything?
Thanks,

First, do you really have the cash to buy the home outright at a fair price? If so, mail the letter, don't leave it - it's vacant. You aren't the only one seeing it so have you figured out why it's boarded up. Who is the seller? In-town or out-of-town? Local or far away? In foreclosure or high equity? If you don't know this, your "I will buy your house for cash" letter is what everyone else who doesn't want to build a relationship is doing. Be different, figure out the pain point by doing research and target the letter to that pain point. If you can't figure it out, be more creative and give options. Not everyone needs or wants to sell for cash quickly.
