I am a Newbie! Suggestions are welcomed!

Hello!

My name is Mystica. I'm 22 pursuing an English Licensure degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. I am from Mississippi.

I am new to the realm of Real Estate Investing. I am learning how everything works so I can understand the language my boyfriend is speaking. I want to be supportive as possible of his goals.

I am unsure of the location or region where he will be investing.

I promise I know something! I know Nick will be on the market for a duplex and "house-hack." I am excited to go on this journey with him but would be lying if I said I'm not worried about the unknowns. All the information available is a tad overwhelming as well. Where should start?

If anyone has ANY suggestions or advice, I WILL GLADLY take it!

Please feel free to point me towards any resource, book, forum you believe would help.

Welcome to the BiggerPockets community! No matter where you stand in your real estate investing journey, BiggerPockets is the ultimate resource for all of your investing needs. I’d suggest starting out by networking with as many other investors as possible and be an active participant in the forums.

If you haven’t already subscribed to the BiggerPockets podcasts, do that ASAP. Look for meetups in your area (virtual) on Meetup.com or FB Groups, attend free webinars, start reading as much as possible on any and all topics related to investing and real estate. Use the forums to help you search for the answers to all of your questions. If you can’t find your answers, then create your own post!

Feel free to DM me if you want more specific advice.

Good luck and get educated!
