Arapaho OK great to invest?

Question

I am trying to invest in a cheaper location because I live in Washington, should I invest in Oklahoma? Homes are very cheap there, and I think long term it would be a great investment.

Account Closed Why are you interested in Arapaho?  It's pretty remote  (even for Oklahoma!), but if there's a reason--that's different.  I don't know anything at all about it, so I can't help you with Arapaho.  If you have questions about the OKC area, I can help; and there's a bunch of us on here that will be able to chime in as well!

Questions like this always deserve answers that are centered around what you as the individual investor want to get out of your investment property.  I have a few properties in San Antonio and will always promote it. But maybe you want more appreciation? Or maybe a higher cash flow? Sticking with just the state of Texas and the big four cities. Houston will give you cash flow, and a very large tenant population. Dallas will give you appreciation with some potential for cashflow. Austin is very expensive, so hard to find cash flow, but it will appreciate.  San Antonio is a pretty even split of steady cash flow and appreciation.

That was very general, there will be good and bad pockets within each city. So best advice, wherever you land. Find a local team to help you out.

We're working with a lot of out of state investors.  San Antonio is one the few places you can get cash flow and appreciation.  I've heard the same about Nashville.

@Nawal Osman  I would say Arapaho is a very tiny town and not normally on most investors radar.

Focus on areas of growth....Texas might be better...the bigger cities around DFW, Houston, San Antonio.

Austin is super expensive right now.

Also some of the mid-size cities in between this triangle.
