Property with missing address numbers. How do I find address?

Please help!!  Found a property while driving for dollars, however all but the first of five (5) of the address numbers are missing. I took down the addresses of he properties to the right & left of the property but don’t know how/where to look to find the address.

Most counties will have an assessor page for taxes. And most of these sites will be keyed to a map, although every county is different. Look up the tax parcels to the right and left of your "mystery" property using their addresses. You should be able to then go to the map and see them - as well as to click on the parcel you're trying to get data for. Usually parcel number, owner name, tax amounts, etc. should all be public and available. In my county, if the owner address is different than the site address....that data is also available, making it easy to contact them.

hmm... this is a true predicament. I would say maybe look up property taxes if you can? Or maybe, simply go to the next door neighbors and ask? You can probably ask the local law enforcement if they know.. Realtors might have access to a map of properties for sale in their MLS.

I find that attorneys best respond to other attorneys. If you have one working for you, have them send the letter to the other law firm expressing your interest in buying.

Or you can just draft up your own professional letter and send direct. You may want to try that first to see if you get a response from the attorney. If not then have your attorney send something. Good luck.

The county should have a GIS site that will allow you to get address via a map. I have done this with vacant properties. Or the county tax site would probably have a mapping service.

Ok guys & gals, mystery solved. With your advice I not only successfully found out the missing address numbers of the abandoned property, I also managed to find out that according to public tax records that the property is owned by a law firm.

Does anyone happen to know what that might mean?

Also, any tips, or past experiences on how best to reach out to a law firm regarding buying one of their abandoned properties would be greatly appreciated.
