where to list an MTR besides Airbnb

Hello - besides Airbnb and Furnished finder and ALE solutions, where else can I list my Mid-Term Rental to get more traffic and views?

You've listed the "big three", and those are all that are needed for most MTRs, especially if you have a limited number of doors in an area. (and I would definitely support paying the $149 for listing on FF)

Beyond FF, Airbnb and ALE, it's going to take time and leg work, and which platform will depend on your market. Once you have some leads coming in, you'll start to see patterns in what kind of traveler is looking for your place(s). After you identify what avatar wants to find you, go looking as if you were them.

If you get nurses, Google "nurse housing in [your area]". If you see work crews reaching out, ask the person in charge of securing housing where they go looking. Be where their eyes are searching, but it's not as simple as asking here.

You can even learn a lot from leads that don't book with you, if you build report and ask the prospect worthwhile questions.

You can also search for local FB groups that specialize in longer term stays. There is no "secret" to finding them--- you just have to search, but most major metros have them.

It probably depends on the market or property. I own mid term rentals in two different states/markets. In one of them, we get a lot of traffic, and the other is very light. I'd pay it to start out. It's worth $149 (prices went up) for a year to see if it will be a good tenant source.

Besides the places you mentioned Facebook, Zillow, VRBO, and Craigslist are other places that can be successful for MTR leads.

100% worth it to post on Furnished Finder, but you need to make sure that you understand it is not a booking site. It takes a little more work with outreach but worth it!

There are many other sites you can list on if you are going for Insurance Bookings but in my markets or at least for the inventory I have, it hasn't proven to bring many leads.

@Travis Timmons thanks!  is it worth paying the $99.00 to list on furnished finder?  I heard many hosts say that they rarely get any bookings on FF.  How's your experience with FF?

Zillow, apartments.com, maybe VRBO...virtually all of your traffic is going to come from Airbnb and FF, though.

Anything beyond that is going to take some blocking and tackling (reaching out directly to local companies like solar farms, construction, medical staffing agencies, etc.).
