I'm thinking about putting some snacks (oreas, pringles, popcorn, trailmix, granola bars etc) and drinks (coke, sprite) in my 1 bed 1 bath to improve the guest experience.  This obviously will cost some $$.  Is it worth spending the extra money to provide this for my guests? Or is this really an unnecessary cost?

Hello - looking for advice on investing in the Shenandoah National Park area. Anyone have experience there? is it too late to get in? Is the market overly saturated? Does Front Royal allow STR's?

I'm looking at a potential STR near a national park. My main concern is that logically, it would seem that most of the bookings would only happen on the weekends, and less demand on the weekdays. Any concerns with lots of vacancies during the weekdays for STR's near national parks?

@Blake Anthony Carter when you say short drive, about how many minutes are talking?  5-10 min drive or 20-30 min drive?

Hello - I've identified a potential property for an STR. I need some help with analyzing the potential for a home for an STR. Can someone help me with the analysis?

Anyone use Waivo to protect against damages during STR bookings? Has your experience with Waivo been positive?

@John Underwood where in the ABB listing do i state that only 1 pet is allowed per stay?  is that in the "house rules" section?

@John Underwood have you ever had really bad property damage due to pets? that's my real concern with hosting pets.. i'm still a newbie STR host :)

@Jules Aton are there any good places to invest in STR's in the Balto/DC area? I heard Baltimore only allows owner occupied STRs..
