Hello. My airbnb posting just went live yesterday.  I obviously have zero reviews.  Should I have my local friends stay in the Airbnb and give me reviews so that I can get the ball rolling?  or should I just wait for the reviews to come in organically from outside bookings?

@Bruce Woodruff so a photo of the living room, followed by a completely separate photo of the game room?

@John Underwood how's this for a first photo?  is it too busy?

Would like recommendations for curtain colors and rug colors for this living room. Thanks!

Hello.  I just listed my Airbnb which is a 2 BR / 1.5 BA.  What's unique about my property is that it has an Arcade Room with Pacman and streetfighter arcade machines along with a popcorn machine.

Should I put the arcade room as my first photo in order to make it stand out from the other Airbnb's in the area?   Or should my first photo really be the best photo of the living room?  The issue is that I see that every other Airbnb in the area has their first photo as their living area.  Thoughts?

I saw a video by Miles Golden and he said you change transfer your primary mortgage to a HELOC, and then you can pay all your bills out of the HELOC and pay off your mortgage in 3-12 years. Is this really possible? What are the pros and cons?

Hello - i have a 1br 1 ba STR and the refrigerator is not hooked up to the water line so the water dispenser does not work. I do not want to pay a plumber to do the plumbing for this work.

Should I provide my guests with bottled water or a Brita water filter or leave it up to the guests to bring their own water?
