What’s something small that’s actually helped your investing business?
I feel like everyone talks about the big stuff (finding deals, getting funding, scaling, etc.), but sometimes it’s the little things that move the needle.
For me, it’s been asking better questions when I talk to other investors. Instead of just asking what market they’re in or what kind of deals they like, I’ve started asking what they wish they knew earlier, what mistakes cost them money, or what they’re seeing shift right now. Those conversations have been way more helpful than I expected.
What about you? What’s one small habit, change, or lesson that’s had a bigger impact than you expected?
