Central Georgia Investors — Interest in a Local Meetup? (Coffee & Cashflow)

Hey BiggerPockets community,

I wanted to see if there’s interest in forming a Central Georgia real estate investing meetup.

I’m based in Pike County, GA, which puts me roughly:

  • ~60 miles south of Atlanta

  • ~60 miles north of Macon

  • ~60 miles from Columbus

What I’ve noticed is that many local investors in Pike, Upson, Lamar, Spalding, Meriwether, Talbot, and surrounding counties are kind of left out of the loop — most meetups are centered in Atlanta, Macon, or Columbus, and not everyone can (or wants to) make those drives regularly.

My thought is to create a simple, relationship-focused meetup — possibly called “Coffee & Cashflow” — that would meet monthly or quarterly at a local coffee shop here in Central Georgia. Most people would be within about an hour drive.

This would NOT be a guru pitch or sales event — just:

  • Local investors

  • Deal talk

  • Market insights

  • Lessons learned

  • Relationship building

All experience levels welcome: buy-and-hold, BRRRR, creative finance, wholesaling, etc. (Just be serious about growing as an investor)

Before trying to organize anything formal, I wanted to ask:

👉 Is there interest from Central Georgia investors in something like this?
👉 What cities/counties are you in?
👉 Monthly or quarterly — what would you prefer?

If there’s enough interest, I’d be happy to help facilitate and get something started.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Best,
Shane
(Pike County, GA)
