New to BiggerPockets
I’ve been in the mortgage industry for more than 14 years, and one thing I’ve learned is that real estate financing is rarely as black and white as people make it sound.
A deal can look impossible with one lender and make complete sense with another simply because of differences in guidelines, property type, income documentation, reserves, leverage, or how the transaction is structured.
I joined BiggerPockets because I enjoy the investor side of the business and the problem-solving that comes with it. DSCR, conventional financing, multifamily, self-employed borrowers, LLC ownership, bridge financing, cash-out strategies — there are a lot more moving pieces once you get beyond a straightforward owner-occupied mortgage.
I’m looking forward to participating in the discussions here, sharing what I’ve learned over the years, and probably learning a few things myself along the way.
Out of curiosity, what financing issue do you see investors struggle with the most right now?
