Tampa rent and remodel?

This is a bit of a unique post, but I have extensive construction experience (General contractor for nearly a decade in WA state) and am looking into the idea of teaming up with someone in the Tampa area on a remodel.

I am looking for someone who has a property in the Tampa area that could use some repairs, who would be interested in trading some rehab/remodeling work for rent.  Could be a shorter term deal (3-6 months) or longer (1-2 yrs).  Let me know!

Creative idea, especially with your construction background. I’d just make sure the agreement clearly lays out the value of the labor, who covers materials, the rehab scope, timeline, permits, insurance, and exactly how the rent credit is calculated so both sides are protected.

Another thing that could help is having access to separate business capital for materials, carrying costs, or unexpected rehab expenses so the project doesn’t get stalled if more cash is needed than expected.
