Aaron Amuchastegui

Aaron Amuchastegui has been a full-time real estate investor for over 10 years. In that time, he’s purchased over 1,500 homes at auction and has bought and sold three apartment complexes. He currently owns 300 single-family rentals and a 164-unit multifamily property.

Experience
Since 2009, Aaron has been a fixture at foreclosure auctions throughout Texas, Arizona, and California. Prior to leading distressed property acquisitions as the president of AMA Construct Inc., Aaron gained real estate experience as a division manager for a California-based company specializing in new construction homes. He has a degree in construction management from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Aaron is currently CEO of Roddy’s Foreclosure Listing Service, the largest providers of distressed property lists in Texas.

Aaron’s upcoming book, Bidding to Buy: A Step-by-Step Guide to Investing in Real Estate Foreclosures, outlines the process of finding, buying, and flipping foreclosures. It’s scheduled for release in the BiggerPockets Bookstore in August 2020. Together with his wife, Kaleena, Aaron authored The 5-Hour School Week and is passionate about homeschooling his four children.
