Learn To Launch a Real Estate Crowdfunding Platform at RealCap Chicago

Joey Jelinek, CEO and co-founder of real estate crowdfunding platform GroundBreaker, will lead the “How To Create Your Own Crowdfunding Platform” workshop at RealCap Chicago. This real estate crowdfunding conference is sponsored by American Homeowner Preservation and will take place on September 18 at One Financial Place in downtown Chicago. Other participants featured in panels and workshops include platform operators from American Homeowner Preservation, CrowdAlliance, Groundfloor, Patch of Land, PropFunds and ShareStates.

Conference attendees will learn how to utilize GroundBreaker’s white label solution to promptly, efficiently and cost-effectively launch their own real estate crowdfunding platforms. To help drive traffic to white label sites, GroundBreaker features project summaries on their flagship site. “Through our platform and technology, real estate projects can go viral by leveraging entrepreneurs’ existing networks while also making the fundraising process more efficient in general. Our mission is to help visionary real estate entrepreneurs launch their ventures,” Jelinek told CrowdFund Insider in October 2013. Jelinek launched GroundBreaker alongside co-founders Stefano D’Aniello, Alex Jelinek and Jacob Hofer.

Crowdfunding platforms are changing the landscape of real estate as developers are now able to expand their network of investors to the global online community. Using GroundBreaker and similar services, developers can launch their own platforms to eliminate intermediaries,” said Jorge Newbery of American Homeowner Preservation. “However, the trade-off is that they give up the built-in investor audience which many of the more established sites have built up,” Newbery added.

RealCap Chicago will also offer developers the opportunity to learn strategies which drive traffic to their offerings. Whether on traditional or white label sites, the “Marketing & Publicity Strategies to Make Sure Projects Are Funded - and Fast!” will provide solutions to help reach potential investors.

RealCap Chicago will kick off on the morning of September 18 at One Financial Place in downtown Chicago. The event will be produced by the Soho Loft Media Group and sponsored by American Homeowner Preservation, headquartered in Chicago’s South Loop.
