Wow, there's a lot to do!

So, I've officially had my first few assignments as the new Acquisition Manager.  Although it is very exciting, I feel like my brain is going to EXPLODE.  It's ok though.  As was said on podcast 209, "Get uncomfortable.  Then you know you're growing."  I love that!

We drove around for dollars on Monday, which was so fun!  I felt like I was looking for the perfect Christmas tree to put in my living room.  With the list that we made, it was my job to create a direct mail campaign - which I've almost finished.  Not only that, I am going to call / visit those that we can.  I haven't gone door-to-door talking with strangers since selling pest control in college!  I'm a little nervous, but it should be fun!  I'm very excited about our marketing campaign.

My supervisor is counting on my to eventually take full charge of marketing and also negotiating with sellers and agents.  Wow!  Even though this is very cool, I feel like I have too much to learn.
