I say this as a 25 year operator in property management in 12 different states - the way they operate is not in line with state and local laws. Simple as that.
We overlooked numerous issues throughout our tenancy, but the manner in which the renewal process was handled where the proper HB1217 notice was never given just an email with a small line notifying us that we were legally allowed additional time to decide, repeated failures to properly request entry into the home, failure to complete work orders, being instructed that we needed to vacate early because of the owner's vacation schedule, and now the assessment of substantially inflated move-out charges that are unsupported by documentation and include items that either existed at move-in or were previously reported for repair is deeply concerning.
What concerns me most is not simply this dispute, but the implication that a resident unfamiliar with Washington law or standard property management practices may simply pay unsupported charges without question. Some would call this predatory.
Interested to see what SDCI, the DOL and local tenant rights groups will do once this kind of information is reviewed.

A special thank you to Andres Prudencio for keeping us updated on our maintenance request!!! He went above and beyond to make sure we knew exactly what was going on!!!!
Also, I highly recommend Tariq Suseyi and his crew for maintenance!!!! They are extremely professional, great at communication and very thorough with repairs!!!! Tariq kept us updated on part orders for our water heater and always made it a priority to get his crew here asap!!!!

Cat was incredibly helpful today! I called to check on my tenant's unpaid rent, and she quickly looked up the balance and immediately got the Collection Team to follow up. She also tracked down my recent pay out . her voice was nice and friendly and took her time and be patient with me. Super proactive and great customer service!

Good experience with people at renters warehouse. They were able to provide me with a copy of my lease agreement. I really needed a copy asap and they were helpful, through and has great customer service.

This is my third time working with renters wear house. As good as always, as fast as always. My neighbors house set on market for rent several months. My agent Erin Kirkendall find tenants in first week and tenants move in second week. Very fast and everything good. I definitely will work with renters wear house again.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I'm writing a review tonight because I got an important reminder today. As I was reviewing the emails I sent over the last few months, I saw that I put a TON of work on Sally Binuya's plate (task manager at Renter's Warehouse). We had a house remodeled and I asked a ton of questions about the scope and timing of the project, and she researched and tracked down all the info I needed. She helped get a tenant a new stove the same day the old one broke, got plumbing and electric fixed at FANTASTIC prices. We had a renter move out, and somehow she and her team filled that vacancy the SAME WEEK I finished the prep work for showings in December. She always researches and answers any and every accounting, reporting or forecasting questions I have. My family wants to translate my babble. Said another way, nowadays she and her team do EVERYTHING and me and my family love doing practically nothing. These properties were stressful investments back when we tried to manage them. Sally, thank you for somehow turning them into profitable investments that are in great shape and full of happy tenants! :)

Renters warehouse is the best property management company I have ever dealt with! Every time something needs done, they are on it! Their response on emails is quick and direct. For emergency maintenance, whether it’s your furnace or your water heater, their guys come to the house that day, and get you a fix. And , the team they provide are so cool! The guy Tariq is my favorite, his work is thoughtful, thorough, and dialed. He covers the warranties, walks you through directions, and explains your responsibilities. I have nothing but good to say about all the managers at renters warehouse.

Jalen Holmes is stellar to work with. He keeps us up to date and got our house rented quickly. Simply the best!
Edit: Unfortunately, Jalen left Renter's Warehouse shortly after my initial review. Sadly, since then, there has been one problem after another. For example, they close a "case" with no explanation, and no resolution. Then, we have to open a new "case" to try to address the same issue. Resolutions seem to be very difficult to obtain, despite ample evidence of our position.
