My name is Akimi Oya, and I am a realtor with the Monica Hayes Team at Lepic-Kroeger in Iowa City, Iowa. I began my journey in real estate in 2020 when I discovered Bigger Pockets which quickly sparked my interest and led me to start my own portfolio of rentals. Monica was absolutely fantastic? She always responded immediately to any questions and concerns that we had along the way as we bought our new condominium. She always explained things along the way and we never felt high pressure from her or her team. We cannot recommend Monica high enough and will absolutely use her in the future if we ever decide to sell!

We did not intend to move from our townhouse until my husband with health issues started falling putting him at more health risks. I started looking online and miraculously got hooked up with Grace Laubental, who is on the Monica Hayes team, Lepic-Kroeber, Realtors team, what a blessing. Grace listened to what we wanted in our new to be home. We received emails from Grace with possible homes that matched the requirements. She contacted us with a one story condo that she thought might work for us, it was exactly what we needed and we put in an offer after first viewing. Grace worked it all while keeping us updated on progress to purchase the new home. Grace is so knowledgeable and brought a touch of grace, kindness, and support during the buying experience. She also sold our previous townhouse and it sold after second showing. If you’re looking for an awesome realtor, stop right here as your gal is “Grace” and her team.

I had the pleasure of working with Grace the past couple months and I couldn't be more impressed with her professionalism and expertise. She sent me a house she thought I would like, re-arranged her schedule so we could go look at it as soon as possible. I decided to put in an offer with another viewing shortly after us, so she hopped in my car to write up the offer at a nearby Casey's parking lot, we joked as that was her first time she ever done that, but most likely won't be her last rodeo. Her fun personality will not stop her from getting the job done in all circumstances. Grace was always available to answer my questions, provide valuable insights, and offer sound advice throughout the entire buying process. I truly felt supported every step of the way. Thank you, Grace, I found the perfect home and had a seamless experience from start to finish.
