About us
I love working with investors, especially newbies- I was new at this once and we all have to start somewhere. If you have a downpayment and good credit or a serious plan to get there, I'd love to work with you. I do not do wholesaling nor do I recommend it or advise on it- there are no legitimate get-rich-quick schemes in real estate. I am highly experienced, motivated and educated and I can help serious investors build wealth through real estate investing. I have been in real estate since 2003, when I earned my salesperson license in New York State & did leasing & property management. I began investing in real estate 2004 and moved to Pittsburgh, PA in 2006 where I purchased 2 duplexes. When the market crashed in California, we saw opportunity and moved to Oakland, buying a house in 2012 and one in 2014. In 2012 I earned my real estate agent license, and in 2016 I earned my broker's license. Having been a top producing agent with Keller Williams since 2016, I mentor and teach classes for new agents . A serious work ethic is incredibly important to me; as a homeowner and investor, I understand how important your next transaction is. I have an MA in History from San Francisco State and am currently taking graduate level law school classes at Lincoln School of Law. Prior to working in Real Estate I was an archivist and corporate historian.

Joey has proven herself to be a knowledgeable, hard working, ethical, out-of-the-box thinker. She sold our Oakland home at the beginning of 2020, negotiating each of the 11 offers that we received; she strategically secured a backup offer so that when our top offer fell apart, we seamlessly entered into contract with a backup buyer. She is an avid and enthusiastic investor who somehow makes real estate transactions both educational and fun. I find her trustworthy enough that after doing business with her, I chose to partner with her on a real estate investment project in No. Cal.

I’ve known Joey for years, and done an apartment deal together. She’s smart and both knows her East Bay market really well, but she also knows a lot about short-term rental and out of state investing. Looking forward to our next joint project.

Joey is everything you always look for in a Realtor but seldom find. A true businesswoman; as an investor herself; she deeply understands all aspects cash flow, leverage, appreciation, investor's mindset.
Her quick + creative thinking- have provided me solutions -that I hadn't thought of, and could really boost my returns.She is so much more than a transaction negotiator, she is a partner and advisor to your project.
We met through an out-of-state investing club she leads, and are now working together to find my next flip project in the Bay Area.A Bomber negotiator, super solid with follow up, and brings that energy + drive to move the deal forwards.
