She owns her own single-family and multifamily rental portfolio in TN and FL, and is actively expanding her Airbnb portfolio in the Smokies and Chattanooga. Karen is an active member of the Tennessee Real Estate Investors Association (REIA) and has strong connections with local and national wholesalers for off-market deals. Born in New York and raised in Indonesia, Karen has lived in Miami, New York, Singapore, Granada, Dublin, and now Tennessee. After graduating from Brown University, she spent five years working at a hedge fund in New York before discovering her passion for real estate. She brings a deep understanding of numbers and investing to the table and speaks firsthand to the unique challenges of navigating a shifting market. Karen enjoys working with first-time and VA homebuyers and specializes in out-of-state and international clients—80% of her clients live outside of Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her rescue dog, road trips to national parks, and a good book with an old fashioned in hand.

Karen was a phenomenal agent throughout the entire purchase process. She worked hard over several weeks to find a property that fit my description and price point. We had looked over several properties and once we found the one, she assisted on price negotiations with sellers agent and was in contact with me daily until we had an accepted offer. I’ve had agents stop here as they have a sell “done”.
Karen wasn’t over yet. She was there to do the initial walk through of the property, helped set up my inspector and reviewed inspection report with me. Minor issues were present and she put me in touch with a reputable contractor ( a nice touch).
Not done yet. She followed up with me often as we it came to closing time and staying helped me coordinate with setting up a new property manager. She was there for final walk through on day of closing. The entire process was pleasant and her knowledge helped me feel at ease. Thank you so much Karen.

Karen was just what I required when I was l was looking for an investment property. She knows her markets and digs deep examining options. As an out of state investor, I interviewed multiple realtors as I knew I would require extra hand holding and she delivered!
