Owner, DeBiasse Jr. was disrespectful and unprofessional as he explained that he did not want to talk with me about the progress of renting to tenants. Disappointingly, he interpreted my questions as micro managing him instead of understanding that I am a new landlord and would like to understand the process of bringing a home to compliance. He firmly stated that he had already explained the process to me. My response was that I still did not understand but some of the process and procedures are starting to come together for me. He even spoke over me. He continued to say that I must respect his time. My father's home need to be in compliance with rent control. It also needs to be registered with DCA. All I wanted to do was explain where I was with gathering information. One of my tenants paid their rent directly to Lone Eagle but I was not informed of an account that was supposed to have been created to put the money in. I kindly asked about the accounts but once again, Mr. DeBiasse did not want to discuss that point. Mr.DeBiasse literally said that I should have kept my mouth shut and allowed him to do his job. I wonder if he pick and choose whom he will be kind and professional to. He accused me of being a NO IT ALL and asked that we sever our business relationship. I continued to express my gratitude to Mr.DeBiasse for his help but I am appalled at his demeanor as a business person. At this point I hope that he does not over charge me for the work that he has started.
