Overpriced, under-personalized service. Many promises made and none kept. The service provided was basic, at best and i learned nothing in the process. Lack of communication, lateness to meetings, ignored voicemails. Get yourself a good local accountant and save yourself the headache of dealing with shallow pool of poorly run "accountants". *EDIT* After the response I received to my review, I was asked to contact 1800Accountant, which I promptly did. WARNING! This is the biggest scam of a company. Do NOT trust the bag of lies the sales reps are selling you - sales reps will never talk to you again once they take your money. They charge you ahead for all tax work, then the tax reps do absolutely nothing. When you follow up, they [eventually] reply asking for additional arbitrary and unnecessary information (they've taken 2 weeks to respond to my questions at times). They literally took 1 full year to do ONE business tax return of mine. When you try to cancel, they tell you that nothing is refundable even if they've done 0 work on it. So basically they charge you, then never do anything with your account, until you get fed up and pay someone else to do it. Worst "accountant" experience I've ever had. RUN. Every negative review here is consistent with my horrible experience. The positive reviews have to be fake. Someone will reply with a fake apology and say they will look into, but they won't.

Don't trust any good reviews on here they are likely AI generated or paid reviews. I received absolutely nothing from them. I tried to get my business schedule C completed by tax time and uploaded everything they asked for in early February, they would eventually answer me asking for other things they did not need. I had to pay a new person to do everything they had promised. The will not refund any monies. Please don't waste your money here.

Extremely disappointed in this service. We paid for them to file our 2023 taxes. Due to the lack of communication and support we were promised, we switched to a different accountant. Our new accountant reviewed our return and saw that our whole W2 salary wasn’t even reported and we now need to amend it. After asking them to fix it through messages and calls nothing has been done. Even worse they didn’t even have a number to call management or any real person to see how to solve this. It’s been a month and nothing. It is affecting our small business and we are having to pay more for a different person to fix their mistake. All that to say, if you sign up you won’t have to just pay their initial fee, you might have to pay extra to fix their mistakes. Case number 1092697 Our accountant Eileen and other sales people have been no help. They just say they will escalate it and mark it as priority but you get no answers anyway.

Every bad review on here is 100% accurate! I experienced the same things from having to pay close to $3K for slow services. You do all the work and they just file it, but it takes them days before you get any help. Don't fall for the large return they promise you. You'll be lucky to even get back the same amount you paid them.

These people are a scam!!!!!!! I opened up a business with ZenBusiness then was referred to these 1800 Accounts for tax filing. The sales person from 1800 called me and I explained to him that all of this was my first time and I was a new business owner. I gave him all of my details. He then said that I need to sign up for the package service that cost over $2,700. I wasn’t able to pay everything upfront so I was talked into doing installment plan. I paid a total of $2000. It took a span of 3 months for them to schedule different appointments to gather all of my information and docs before I could finally speak to the actual tax advisor who will be doing the actual filing. Upon talking to the Tax advisor she told me that I do not need to file so basically I paid $2000 for nothing. I then requested to cancel and requested my refund since I didn’t need the service in the first place. I was then told that I am outside of their cancellation period and cannot get a refund. Of course I am out of cancellation period because I base on how their process is set up I had to wait 3 months to finally speak to the the actual person doing the filling who told me that I don’t need to file. So why wasn’t I told that in the beginning? If I didn’t need the service or used the service why can’t I get my money back for the service I didn’t get. They are trying to say I can only get a credit for future. Why would I want a credit to be forced to used a company I no longer wish to do business with? You guys are conniving and scam artist!!!! I have been promised a manager call back in 48 hours, it’s been over a mon Now

I’ve been working with them nearly a year and they don’t do anything!!! I did my part as a client upload everything on the portal, even though I waited for month to tax returns appointment they just don’t call or attend the meeting and never bothered to let me know! Now they try to give me an appointment for one month later which I will be late for tax returns. They are unbelievable. Definitely not professional!!! Till they get the money they are so caring, answering all your question once they get paid you can not find anybody to reach out! The nearest appointment that you can get at least one month later which they don’t attend announced!!!!

I have been with this company for years, and I was happy until about 6 months ago.. Recently something has change with the company and I am so frustrated and disappointed. First, my tax advisor (who was wonderful) left, and no one let me know, I had to call customer support to find out that she left after she missed an appointment we had scheduled 2 months prior. When I called, they seemed to be unaware that she was no longer with the company. They assigned me to a new tax advisor who was very good as well. But when. I checked my portal to see if she answered a message, my portal showed that my team was pending. I currently habe no one assigned to my account. This is not very comforting as we are in tax season 😒I am on the phone now and the only thing anyone can do for me is create a ticket. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, no one is available. So frustrating and discouraging.
