Me and my husband are current residents as of December 18 of 2025. We have been dealing with multiple instances with marketplace homes has dropped the ball continuously. They seem to think that we are incompetent and that we’re just gonna shut up after a certain amount of time, but we are not those people. We have went through the proper channels as calling emails messages through the tenant portal and nothing seems to get handled. They keep closing tickets and not repairing things. Now we are currently dealing with a pest problem that has been going on probably since before we moved in here. We have made numerous complaints even in the allotted two week time per the leasing agreement that we are supposed to reach out to get pest control out there to the home. Multiple companies have came and said that we have a pest problem, most likely raccoons living in our attic above our bedroom, one company said that it will take at least $15-$20,000 to fix the damages. Yesterday a company had came out to look and assess the damages per my husband. He didn’t even step foot in the attic to get a clearer view of what needs to be done. He only looked on the outside. And when my husband asked him was there going to be any cleaning and sanitizing done, He looked baffled like he didn’t know that was part of the job. I am sick and tired of marketplace homes as a company I’m tired of talking to people and being shushed and rushed off the phone or told just to wait a little longer. We’ve been waiting since December for things to be done and they have not been. They lie and we have proof of lies. Things are not getting done.

Do not waste your time. I tried to work with Brad Borsos. He treated me like my business and time did not matter. He failed to explain their process, what documentation he was providing and he made a massive error on the one document he did provide. When I brought this to his attention he failed to take accountability and did not care at all about my loss of time and work or his potential to lose business. I made several simple asks for internal communication within the company and they continued to fail. Do not recommend.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Marketplace Homes! It has been nearly 50 years since I last rented a home, so I had a lot of questions and quite a few concerns going into the process. Hannah Wagoner, the Leasing Coordinator, has been nothing short of amazing. She was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive every step of the way. No question was too small, and she took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave me so much peace of mind. I truly appreciate her professionalism and kindness throughout this transition. I would highly recommend Marketplace Homes — and especially Hannah — to anyone looking for a smooth and supportive leasing experience!

Nathan is the best of the best...he held my hand through the whole process step by step I could not have imagined a more secure process than what I was given by Nathan... Only five stars were allowed to be given however I would have given him much much more... I have shared his name to others so that they receive the best of the best

My experience with Marketplace Homes has been very frustrating. Communication has been difficult and it’s been hard to get clear or helpful answers when issues come up. Since moving in, there have been new fees added to my rent regularly, making it difficult to understand what my actual monthly cost will be. On top of that, when I first moved in, the home did not have working heat, which was extremely stressful and should have been addressed before move-in. Overall, the lack of responsiveness and transparency has made this a disappointing experience. I hope improvements are made in communication, maintenance response time, and billing clarity for future tenants.

I strongly recommend looking elsewhere when renting a house. This has been a terrible experience from the start. It seems they don’t even inspect the property before renting it out. When I moved in, the place was not clean, and several things were damaged. The house hadn’t been properly painted, and the list of issues goes on. Submitting work orders is pointless because they often close them without completing the repairs. Communication is nonexistent, and they seem completely unaware of what’s happening with the property. They lie, and even when you provide proof of their dishonesty, they continue to lie and fail to make things right, despite promising compensation. Work orders take forever, and when they are addressed, the repairs are either done poorly or not at all. They also tend to blame everything on the owner, saying things like, “The owner doesn’t want you to have this,” or “The owner didn’t approve that.” It’s a truly bizarre situation. This is by far the worst company and experience I have ever had. Spend your money elsewhere to preserve your sanity, as they will make you feel like you’re the crazy one.

We had such a great experience working with John Fabirkiewicz at Marketplace Homes! He helped us lease out our home in Tulsa and smoothly transition into our new home in Dallas. From start to finish, John was professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about making the process stress-free for us. He answered all of our questions, kept us informed every step of the way, and made sure both sides of the move were handled efficiently. If you’re looking for someone who truly goes above and beyond, we highly recommend John!
