Too shelf! We are from out of state and bought a rental back in 2022.
We didn’t know who was who among Houston property managers, so we did hours of online research, cross-referencing BBB listed companies with longstanding accounts against the major online reviewers. ELDA ended up being the most experienced that also had a consistent decades-long, documented presence on BBB - the significance to us is for decades they never took their BBB profile down for a complaint they couldn’t resolve. Indeed, we know now they deserve their five stars bc they have resolved everything always; simply we have been well rewarded for our choice. ELDA knows the Houston area rental market like no one. They have helped us stay in compliance with Texas law when renters turned, they re-rented the place very quickly for us when the existing renters moved, and they have always made all processes easy and efficient. Responsive, reliable, effective, and highly knowledgeable all the time. We highly recommend ELDA Management. (And they don’t know I’m posting this ;)

This is our first time with a property management and this has been a very bad experience. Please save yourself the headache. It’s so many issues. I can’t even enjoy the new place from day one and now we in the 3rd week. I tried to be patient and give them a chance. I do not like complaining and make a fuss about things but it’s always something wrong. This situation has become very overwhelming.

I waited a long time to post this review due to whom ever does the rebulttles is damn good... BUT JUDGMENTS DONT LIE...they just take a looong tiiiiimmee.lol
Elda, particularly Stephanie and Juan were great during my 3yrs... Until I informed her that I was purchasing a home and not renewing. Never late on rent (3 weeks paid ahead every month actually). The last thing I imagined was to be treated like I was. I first received an email stating that I would need to repaint, prior to moving. Umm, I'm new to TX so I figured I'd educate my self on renters rights. Just like FL, normal wear and tear applies, unless the walls were painted post move-in. (ie. Color change). There were other things like a coincidental pipe leak (Inside the wall) while we were living in the new house, or as I look at it, an act of God due to their blatant wrong doings. Long story shorter. I ended up sueing in small claims court (apparently you must sue the owner and not Elda, even if you've never talked to the owner). Of course I won but ONLY because I took and saved a walk through video before and after, which were date stamped. COVER YOUR BUTT!
My reply to the rebuttle-
* Case was won. I assume that it won't be finalalized untll installment payments are made. 3 more to go.
*Non refundable pet deposit ($550), per law covers, rips in carpet (cats scratch). Which was originally in bad shape and I was able to prove this with the video.
*So, I'm supposed to let it go because he's a priest? In court he blamed y'all for advising him. He also apologized.
* I'm not "proud" of anything, I simply can't stand to feel robbed. On the other hand, I don't rob. Which is why, I explained to the owner and mediator that I should have been charged the clean up fee and deducted that from my claim amount, since the electric was turned off early, making cleaning too much of a challenge in one day. Also, why wasn't this "paper I signed" brought to my attention, because I went through my lease prior to filing. I probably would have partially conceded.
* Moving the washer, umm ok, if that's the case then why wasn't the spicket, wall or anything visible damaged. Smh.
Do better by our community! I'm sure there's some who can't afford all the money I spent, including $350 Attorney consultations, to get justice!!

Be cautious when renting from ELDA Management!
I rented a home and left it in good condition, which the owner himself acknowledged during the final walk-through. He even said the only issue was the carpet needing cleaning — which I agreed to cover. Despite this, after moving out, the landlord is now claiming damages that didn’t exist and is refusing to return my deposit. Thankfully, I took pictures.
This kind of behavior is not only unethical but also disappointing. I’m sharing this to warn others to protect themselves. I sent over my pictures and requested to see the reciepts for the repairs as I didn’t believe they warranted $3,000. I have yet to receive the documentation or pictures of the condition of the home that ELDA claims to have. If I did the damage I can and will be accountable, but there still is no evidence that they have provided.
Tenants deserve honesty and fairness. This experience has been unnecessarily stressful and shows a clear lack of integrity in how the situation was handled.

I have had the best experience working with ELDA management. They are an attentive, responsible and professional company who have made managing my property a breeze. I’m impressed with the level of integrity that is brought with every interaction between myself, tenant and management team. Plus they are amazing at working through issues/ situations and keeping me informed. I highly recommend ❤️

My experience has been nothing short of extraordinary with ELDA. Mrs Stephanie is an ANGEL! She made the application process so seem less and easy. Everything was quick and I was able to move in with a week! I’m so very appreciative of her hard work and the rest of the team! Thank you again!!

This is our first Experience ever renting our home. I really thought they were going to look out for us But instead, they only look out for the tenant!! Our tenant left early which we agreed to, but they turned off the power which we did not agree to and now our house will sit for three weeks and destroy the chemicals in our pool and could actively promote mold in our home!! They are trying to take the money in the reserve to pay for the power for the next two weeks. This is unacceptable and they did not do a walk-through with the tenant before they left either, so we have no idea What shape our home will be in when we look at it May 1!!!
